Intelligentia is very pleased to announce the result of the cooperation with Consulta Regionale per i Beni Culturali Ecclesiastici Piemonte e Valle d’Aosta and Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” in adopting IoT (Internet of Things) and a dedicated Cloud infrastructure for supporting the health status monitoring of monuments, cultural works, and in general relevant cultural assets all around Italy.

As Intelligentia we firmly believe that our Cultural Heritage shall be preserved for future generation as a sign of the human progress and achievements in different epochs in our history. With this willing we have decided to invest in creating an innovative, interconnected, secure, and reliable ecosystem supporting the amazing and precious work that Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” is doing all days.

Thanks to the lesson-learnt within Industrial IoT scenarios for monitoring and controlling remote machineries with our inFactory Suite solution, we have demonstrated the applicability of a new class of wireless sensors (based on low frequency radio networks) and edge-computers completely designed and produced by Intelligentia for the specific purpose. Thanks to a verticalization of inFactory Suite for this usecase, we have delivered to the customer a web control room for data visualization and geo-localization of alarms and sensors. Each sensor has its own dashboard and reporting rules. Data are collected autonomously, aggregated, analyzed, and than presented as time series and aggregated KPIs for human overview, and than integrated with external tools for further processing by experts.

WIth such an ecosystem it will be possible to increase the efficiency of the preventive conservation for strategical assets, with the goal of implementing a valuable predictive maintenance service.

With Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” we are willing to introduce such best practices whenever it is needed, in all the most relevant cultural sites in Italy and Worldwilde.
